Description

A flap disc is an abrasive tool used with angle grinders for grinding, blending, and finishing metal and other surfaces. It consists of multiple overlapping layers, or “flaps,” of abrasive material attached to a central hub. As the disc is used, these flaps wear down, continuously exposing fresh abrasive material, which ensures a consistent cut and finish throughout the disc's life.
